The mission of the Golestan Cultural Association is to assistant the Hungarian and Persian culture;
a cross cultural mission where the Golestan Band is the main tool.
One of our goals is to sponsor the group’s travels to concerts in the country and abroad.
Further aims include the organization of World music/folk music festivals and concerts which will
give opportunity to different national
and foreign groups to acquaint their culture tradition and music with the local audience.
We would like to organize photo exhibitions, art exhibitions, music-, culture-, and language
workshops and informative lectures to acquaint people with the Hungarian and Achom/Persian culture. For revenue we defray
expenses, accommodation, salary, technical means and other ancillary costs.
To achieve it’s aim the Association makes recordings of the Bands concerts and
make studio albums for dissemination as well as making publications,
releasing books and making souvenirs to support the organization.
